Stafford based PR consultancy set to offer free ‘lunch hour’ public relations workshops

Stafford based PR consultancy Stone Junction is running a series of free ‘lunch hour’ PR workshops for businesses in Staffordshire. The agency, which has recently become a Stafford Chamber of Commerce member, helps businesses market themselves using a range of public relations techniques from media relations and Blogging to social media activity and e-mail marketing.

The workshops will last an hour and involve an informal review of the recipient company’s current marketing and PR strategy. After the workshop, Stone Junction will provide a free report, outlining some key steps the company could take to improve
on current practice.

“I’ve recently re-located the company to Stafford,” explained managing director Richard Stone. “And I
see these workshops as a way of giving something back to the area. Clearly it will help me build up my contact book in the region as well; so it’s a mutually beneficial situation.

“The lunch hour workshops stem from the fact that plenty of owner manager led companies just don’t
have a lot of time during the day. So I devised a formula that would allow them to take advantage of the times when they wouldn’t normally be working. In practice I’ve run the sessions at breakfast time and last thing in the afternoon as well as just midday! Apart from anything else they are fun and the very least
the companies get out of the event is a positive attitude towards promoting and marketing themselves,” concluded Stone.
