The Control Engineering System Integrator of the Year Award
Usually held in autumn – last year’s entry deadline was August – the System Integrator of the Year award is decided by a group of industry judges. The panel take into account the performance of formal business practices and customer satisfaction as well as project success. The design and implementation of automated control systems in relation to manufacturing lines and other production facilities is also assessed.
The Manufacturer MX Awards
A joint venture between The Manufacturer and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), the Manufacturer MX Awards are the biggest annual celebration in the industry, attracting over 1,000 attendees.
2018 entries open on February 28 and close on June 30 and each applicant will benefit from personalised constructive and confidential feedback through an Assessment and Business Improvement report. Lucky finalists are also included in a showcase publication, The Manufacturer Opus.
With categories including Smart Factory, Sustainable Manufacturing and Innovation and Design, the Manufacturer MX awards are one to watch for many industrial automation providers.
The International Society of Automation (ISA) Celebrating Excellence Awards
These awards, specifically targeted at the automation sector, are likely to be most relevant to those companies who operate internationally, are based overseas or are hoping to increase export trade.
Globally recognised, the categories range from Excellence in Corporate Technical Innovation to Excellence in Leadership. The awards, presented at an Honours & Awards Gala, celebrates the achievements and contributions of ISA’s members, partners and other automation professionals.
Nominations for the 2018 ISA Celebrating Excellence Awards close on March 31, so there remains plenty of time to nominate the peer, colleague or company of your choice.
If you don’t work in the industrial automation sector, or you don’t think these awards meet your SMART objectives, don’t panic. Choosing the right awardsto enter couldn’t be easier.
