~ Stone Junction encourages UK companies to enter more awards ~
Stafford based PR agency Stone Junction is calling for more companies to recognise the importance of entering awards. To help the cause, the company has introduced an award entry service for businesses throughout the UK. The service sits amongst Stone Junction’s current offerings, which include media relations, copywriting, photography and international PR.
A recent survey revealed that one of the biggest benefits of winning company awards is the boost in staff morale. Other advantages include increased brand recognition in the UK, at 27 per cent, and a spike in new business sales, at 20 per cent. The survey was delivered to a range of companies that recently entered the Queen’s awards.
“Many businesses don’t understand the value of business or industry awards,” explained Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction. “Often enough, just entering awards is a very simple way of improving the visibility of a company, either by attending the networking events before or after the award ceremony, having your entry documented online or even just blogging about it.
“Not only is the brand awareness great, but if you get shortlisted, your company can also reap some significant financial benefits from new business. Stone Junction was shortlisted in three CIPR Awards during recent years, and we were a finalist in this year’s Sentinel Business Awards,” confessed Stone.
