BUSY WITH AWARDS

Since the beginning of the New Year I’ve had to replace my keyboard three times. What is all the commotion about, you ask? Well, I’ve been furiously typing away on behalf of our clients in an adrenaline infused, award winning frenzy. In other words, if you happen to drop by Stone Junction Towers this week, chances are you are going to find me busy crafting entries for our local business awards!
As Stone Junction’s foremost awards entry specialist (if I do say so myself), I’ve been working hard at collecting information for The Sentinel awards, organised by the British Business Awards Association. For those of you outside the Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire area, The Sentinel is a hugely popular regional newspaper and media partner for these longstanding business awards.
The yearly awards celebrate exceptional performance in business and acknowledge those organisations that have made an impact in their industry sector. With nine different categories, they are designed to promote and encourage startups, SMEs and large companies alike. The categories are:
• Business of the year
• Small business of the year
• Young businessperson of the year
• Start-up business of the year
• Business innovation award
• Apprentice of the year award
• International trade award
• Environmental business award
• Training excellence award
Last year battery manufacturer Accutronics claimed the Small Business of the Year Award – and we helped make that happen! Accutronics subscribed to our award entry service and, a few months later, they were standing on the podium, collecting their trophy!
So there you have it. Aside from eating cake and enthusing about online shoe sales, these days I am also extremely busy with award entries for The Sentinel!
If you are interested in having a chat about the regional business awards available in your area, or the trade awards relevant to your company, please get in touch and I will be happy to help.
