While it’s great to use your supplier’s strengths, talking to them and asking questions might just uncover some hidden talents.

Working to people’s strengths is always a good tactic— you wouldn’t want a Michelin starred chef to perform open heart surgery, would you? However, none of us are confined to a single skillset or talent, and the same goes for your suppliers too.

Building up a rapport and a relationship of trust between you and your supplier can uncover new areas that your reliable supplier might be able to help you out with. And if they don’t, I bet you they’ll suggest someone who can.
