Stone Junction wins award for Outstanding Small PR Consultancy
Technical and technology PR agency, Stone Junction has won silver in the Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy category at this year's Midlands PRide awards. The awards are organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and recognise the industry's top achievements across the region. The awards dinner took place on September 30, 2016 at the Great Hall, Birmingham University.
The awards acknowledge the achievements, performance and excellent work of small consultancies over the past three years and are judged by an independent panel of public relations professionals.
In the last year, Stone Junction has celebrated an increased turnover of 44.7 per cent, increased employment by 60 per cent and moved to a new office in Stafford town centre. All of these achievements contributed towards Stone Junction's success at the awards.
As well as winning silver in the Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy, Stone Junction account manager, Oana Charlie Stroe scooped the award for Outstanding Young Communicator. Stroe demonstrated incredible achievement, performance and excellent work as a young professional in the industry and shows considerable promise as a future leader.
"High turnover and profit may be the most obvious signs that a company is succeeding," explained managing director, Richard Stone. "However, staff retention and happiness are much surer signs that an agency is operating in the best possible way.
"If an agency's culture is right, service delivery will be excellent. This allows it to win more clients, please more journalists and re-invest more profit into perfecting its culture - a virtuous circle.
"Winning this award is proof that our great people are doing excellent work at exceptional pace. Stone Junction will follow this business model into 2017, where we hope to grow even more."
