Engineering specialist appoints technical PR agency Stone Junction
Handling and screening specialist, Gough Engineering, has chosen technical PR agency Stone Junction to lead its PR activity. Both based in Staffordshire, the two companies will work together to enhance Gough’s presence in the engineering media as well as local and national press.
Originally established in 1940, Gough Engineering is a manufacturer of bucket elevators, vibratory screens, vibratory feeders and conveyor systems. The company primarily works in food production, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, recycling and plastics.
Gough Engineering has an extensive portfolio of process and production equipment. Providing patented and bespoke solutions to many household names in the food industry such as Nestle, Unilever and Associated British Foods, the company’s engineers also offer a range of design skills.
The new account caps an outstanding year for Stone Junction, which has seen the company double its staff, increase turnover by 45 per cent and win more than a dozen new clients. The company’s specialist skills in engineering PR were recognised with the PRCA’s (Public Relation’s Consultants Association) award for Best B2B and Trade Campaign last June.
“We’ve worked in engineering PR for ten years and so we understand the importance of being proactive and implementing marketing tactics to achieve a business’s goals,” Richard Stone, managing director of Stone Junction said. “Gough Engineering has a continuous focus on enhancing the services it offers to its customers and it is this continuous development that positions the company as a market leader.
“Together, we plan to undertake a technical PR campaign that not only champions the company’s portfolio, but demonstrates how Gough Engineering’s design and production engineers can offer customers the right solution first time.”
